Tidal
Energy Turbine
The world's first offshore tidal energy turbine was lauched off the
Devon coast. The single 11 metre-long rotor blade has the potential
of producing 300 kilowatts of electricity and will be a prototype for
further tidal turbines. There is no apparent danger to fish as the blades
