Mission Statement

To perpetuate world peace through non-violence and the calming and mind expanding effects of music and sound because music is the universal language that crosses all ethnic, government and religious boundaries. And because music and sound can help to achieve beneficial brain wave states that open the mind and soul to universal truths and relaxation through meditation, prayer and a calm state of mind. To provide positive, constructive and educational input into the exquisite mind we are all endowed with. To realize that we are all free beings endowed with great creative powers.

The Smiling Ear is a solution based association of individuals who believe the mind, body and soul are a universal feedback entity that resonates with sympathetic input and functions on a cosmic network that can influence minds and souls in order to bring about world peace and eternal satisfaction and prosperity.

The practical steps to achieving these objectives and goals are to first calm the mind and allow universal cosmic wisdom and truth to instruct the individual. To re-direct the inherent human drive of competition towards constructive means instead of tribal survival based instincts. To acknowledge that these base drives have allowed our species to survive through the centuries but to also realize that we are evolving and that these instincts exact great cost and suffering to our species and others on the planet. To realize that we have the ability and higher consciousness to re-direct, embrace and use our base instincts in harmony with universal wisdom for more constructive ends.

The immediate objective is in the promotion of Comprehensive Design Living Solutions (CDLS) where "true cost accounting" (TCA) of natural resources are used in financial accounting principles, where TCA accounts for the accumulation of natural resources on a cosmic level and also accounts for environmental impact on all living species including health and long-term development. For example, the price per gallon of gasoline at the pump is only a fraction of the true cost. Many people are unaware that a high percentage of taxes they pay to their government goes to the following:

• military spending and efforts to protect and manipulate oil resources in petroleum rich locations
• clean up of environmental damage
• costs associated with social health insurance and programs due to chronic breathing illnesses and other related health problems due to air, ground and water pollution created by the burning and release of toxic gasoline and petroleum compounds from vehicles and power generation facilities.

The Smiling Ear promotes the reality that if natural resources are managed efficiently on a global scale, "there is enough to go around" and the belief of territorial boundaries are unnecessary and obsolete. This will ultimately lead people to focus on positive pursuits of harmony and happiness instead of survival of individual tribes. To promote the advancement of renewable energy and lifestyle technologies that have been severely hampered by the few in order to realize great profit and power for only themselves. To promote renewable energy grid systems as hydroelectric systems were established in the early part of the 20th century.
